activateEV presents a comprehensive solution for electric vehicle charging, facilitating an efficient and straightforward process for users. The Driver App allows for easy access to nearby JuiceBar chargers, enabling users to initiate charging sessions, monitor charging status, process payments, and manage their accounts seamlessly.

Installation Process:

1. Download the app.
2. Scan the QR code on the charger.
3. Commence charging.

Starting a Charging Session:

1. Locate electric vehicle charging stations using location, station ID, availability, power level, and accessibility filters.
2. Initiate your charging session by scanning the QR code or entering the station ID in the app.
3. Opt to receive notifications via mobile app or email upon session completion.

Once a session is initiated, users can monitor real-time metrics such as Power, Energy consumed, Duration of the session, and Total amount paid. The system will notify users when less than 5 minutes remain until charging completion to allow for a timely departure before any parking fees apply.

Upon conclusion of the session, users are presented with a summary screen showcasing all relevant session data alongside a graph illustrating charger consumption throughout the charging process.

Using the activateEV App:

Finding a Charger:

The map defaults to show the nearest charging locations. Chargers can be located either by exploring the map or utilizing the search bar situated at the top of the interface.

Filtering Chargers:

Users can filter chargers based on connector types, electrical current type, and minimum available power.

Selecting a Location:

Tapping on a location pin reveals all available chargers therein, along with details of their availability, brief descriptions, and tariff information.

Navigating to a Station:

By selecting the location description, users are redirected to their default navigation app with a pre-set route to the chosen station.

Scanning:

Users can scan a connector’s QR code at any given location, which will automatically take them to the "Start Session" page for that connector.

Starting a Session:

After selecting a connector, users are prompted to either begin an immediate session or reserve the station for future use. To start a session, users must select their payment method from a drop-down menu.

Session Summary:

Following the completion of a session, users are directed to a summary page displaying pertinent data along with a graph demonstrating charger consumption throughout that session.
